Gibson Frazier (he/him/his) is a New York-based performer, writer and filmmaker. A stalwart of NYC downtown theatre scene, Gibson has been named one of the best Off-Broadway actors by both The Village Voice and Time Out New York. He has created roles in some of Off-Broadway’s most iconic productions of the past two decades including MR. BURNS: A POST-ELECTRIC PLAY by Anne Washburn at Playwrights Horizons, GOD’S EAR by Jenny Schwartz at New Georges and the Vineyard Theatre, and TELEPHONE PLAY by Ariana Reines at The Cherry Lane.

Gibson Frazier co-wrote, produced, and starred in the indie cult hit feature film MAN OF THE CENTURY which won the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival and was cited by the National Board of Review for Excellence in Independent Filmmaking. He developed and directed Christopher Titus’ play NORMAN ROCKWELL IS BLEEDING, the inspiration for the FOX television show TITUS and co-wrote and developed Cate Cohen’s OUT OF LINE, ordered to pilot by ABC.

He has acted along such luminaries as Jack Klugman, Tony Randall, and Kirk Douglas, as well as with contemporary masters Steven Soderbergh, Noah Baumbach, and Greta Gerwig.
