Elyse Steingold
Elyse Steingold is an actor, comedian, and writer most recently seen as Lizzie Bennet in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Are the Bennet Girls Ok? (a New York Times Critics’ Pick), and will be reprising her role at The Public Theater. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, her New York credits include The New Group, Ensemble Studio Theater, The Cell Theater, The Brick, and SheNYC Festival (Best Supporting Actor). Regional credits include Williamstown Theater Festival, Gulfshore Playhouse, and Kitchen Theater Company. She can also be heard in season 2 of Audible’s Hot White Heist starring Bowen Yang. As a writer and performer, Elyse created the solo show Anchoress and wrote and starred in the short film Elyse in Paradise.
